What uses credits
Building a product model when you connect a repository, and updating it as the code changes — whether a person or an agent pushed the commit — at 1 credit per 10 lines read.
Questions from AI agents over MCP: 1–10 credits each. Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or your own agent. Most answers use 1 credit. Working out what a task touches uses 10: GitMir's AI reads the task and picks the processes, rules and records it is really about, even when the task uses different words than the code. A refused or failed call costs nothing.
What does not
Questions people ask in GitMir and in Slack, working with documents and tasks, browsing existing models, public models and inviting read-only viewers do not use credits — on any plan. GitMir Cloud Compute is priced per project, so its agent's questions use no credits.

A paid developer seat, $29 a month, with GitMir Vibe included. Their work on the model draws on the shared credit pool.

What can I try before paying?
Explore public product models without an account. Create an account to start with 10,000 credits and connect your first repository. How much you can process depends on its size and your usage.
How much will my first repository use?
The initial model and later updates use credits. The amount depends on the repository and the work performed. As a guide, one credit reads about 10 lines of source, so 10,000 credits cover roughly 100,000 lines. Before a build starts, the cabinet shows the estimate — how many lines, how many credits it needs and how many you have — and nothing is spent until you press Build. Processing stops when the balance runs out and resumes after a top-up — nothing is read twice.
Can one project read several repositories together?
Yes. A project with two or more repositories is read as one: one drawing shows where they meet, one question covers all of them, and one MCP address serves the whole project. Each repository keeps its own model and updates on its own pushes. Reading repositories together uses no credits and is on every plan.
Do I pay for every agent?
Agents do not add separate agent seats. Each question an agent asks over MCP uses 1–10 credits, and when their commits lead to a model update, that update draws on your team’s credit pool. What does GitMir Cloud Compute do?
It carries out work on a project’s board once a person has accepted it. For each piece it asks Intelligence for the product context, works in its own sandbox and commits to your repository — straight to the branch by default, or as pull requests if you switch them on. The work moves through To do, In progress, Verify and Done, and its commits show on Changes. Model updates after its commits use your team’s credits, like any other push.
What does GitMir Cloud Compute cost?
$99 per project per month, however many repositories the project holds; two projects are 2 × $99. It is a separate product with its own plan and works with any Intelligence plan: a team owner adds it to a project, it runs to the end of the paid period, and the work stays on the board. Your own tools and agents keep working through MCP without it.
What is GitMir Vibe, and what does it cost?
GitMir as one MCP server for Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and Codex: add it once, sign in from your coding agent, and your agent connects the repository through GitHub and asks the product model. Starting is free: a new account gets 10,000 credits and connects any number of repositories. After that it is $9 per person per month — each change that person’s agent makes is checked against the product before it is committed, and they add 3,000 credits a month to your team’s credits. Can my product team and clients use it?
Read-only colleagues and clients do not add developer seats. Product managers, analysts and QA who create documents and tasks hold a seat at the same rate as a developer — the seat pays for active work, whoever does it.
What happens when credits run out?
Model building and updates pause when the available balance is exhausted. Existing models stay readable, questions from people keep working, AI agents are told that credits ran out, and processing resumes from where it stopped once you add credits. There is no automatic overage.
Do we need Enterprise to keep agents on our servers?
Your agents can stay on your servers and access GitMir through MCP. Enterprise is relevant when GitMir’s own deployment, integrations or contractual requirements need a custom setup.
